Standard Terms and Conditions
- The Merchant shall indemnify and hold the Carrier harmless against any and all claims, losses, or damages arising from the conduct of the Merchant (including its officers, directors, employees, agents, or owners) that constitutes a violation of the Merchant’s obligations, representations, warranties, and covenants contained herein.
- Any additional costs or fines caused by the Merchant such as penalties imposed by authorities, detention charges, claims for damaged containers, or port storage charges shall be paid separately.
- Transit times are provided as per information from Vessel Operators. The Carrier is not responsible for delays; however, we assure you that every effort will be made to deliver cargo on time.
- The Carrier shall be exempt from liability for loss or damage caused by force majeure sitiuations like extreme weather, war, strikes, terrorist acts, epidemics / pandemics or any other cause beyond the Carrier’s control. If such circumstances prevent performance, the Carrier shall be freed from its obligations.
- Insurance is the responsibility of the Merchant; the Merchant shall insure their own goods.
- The liability of the Carrier, if established, shall not exceed the declared value of the goods at the time of import/export.
